Dean’s Lecture: Innovating Our Way Out of COVID
The second installment of the 135th Anniversary Dean’s Lecture Series was successfully held on 23 June 2022. The lecture was delivered by Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham, Leong Che-Hung Distinguished Visiting Professor in Leadership, Doctor of Science honoris causa, The University of Hong Kong, and Co-Director of the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London.
The lecture was followed by a panel discussion featuring Professor Philip Chiu, Professor of the Department of Surgery, CUHK, and Director of the Multi-Scale Medical Robotics Center, AIR@InnoHK; Dr Christian Fang, Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed; Ms Nisa Leung, Managing Partner, Qiming Venture Partners; and Professor Mak Tak-wah, Professor of the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine, HKUMed.
The panel was moderated by Professor Gabriel Leung, Dean of Medicine.
